Dr. Keeshes Ragland Kearney

Dr. Keeshes Ragland Kearney®, DNP, MSN-Ed, MHA, BSN, RN, AGPCNP, AGNP-C, CPC-A is the first college graduate of my family in the healthcare field. After graduating from Southern Vance High School in 1991, my nursing career began as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Years later, I returned to the local community college and obtained my degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and then a Registered Nurse (RN). I obtained my undergraduate degree from East Carolina University (ECU), and my master’s degree from Capella University. In 2023, I graduated and received my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. My nursing career has expanded from Med/Surg, ER, ICU, PCU, long-term care, home care, school nursing, nurse educator, correction, and now private practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

I am a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I will be practicing advanced nursing. I can evaluate, diagnose, order, interpret diagnostic tests, initiate, and manage treatments, and prescribe medications. When receiving care, my patients will forever be my priority. My love for nursing has been based on treating patients with centered and personal care that offers experience beyond the fundamentals. Throughout my journey as a nurse, I recognized that a person’s healthcare needs start and end with retaining their dignity as a human being. My special interest is helping patients achieve their goals and improve their health outcomes. My approach to treating and caring for patients is compassionate and judgment-free.  I value listening to and motivating my patients to live healthily. My passion for providing care for patients started at the bedside. Now, I am the Founder/CEO of iCare Global Service. I truly believe that my nursing care is my ministry. I have always been passionate about the care that my patients received whether it was care that I supervised or provided personally.
